Summer Party 2025

Its the time of year again. The Summer Party aka RBBS Meeting aka Rewired Garden thing is on again.This year we will be opening the doors from Friday August 29th till Sunday August 31st.The overall scenario stays the same. You show up, socialize, have fun, have some drinks and food, the BBQ will be available, shops and stuff are nearby.

Sleeping Quarters

We have 1.5 guest bedrooms, a couch and room for camping beds / air matresses.Closest hotel is Hotel Vivaldi, The Best Western near Herentals / Grobbendonk is also a good option, but further out.

Getting Here

From the North (NL)(RED)
Get to Antwerpen, then take the E313 towards Hasselt/Luik. Take exit 23 Geel West. There are roadworks on the E313 near Herentals West (exit 20) from early august to late september, these do not impact the route to follow but some delays might occur (more info in dutch)From the East (DE)(BLUE)
North of NRW : Get to Duisburg, drive to Eindhoven, continue to Turnhout, go towards Geel/Aarschot. You will drive past Westerlo.South of NRW : Get to Aachen, continue to Antwerpen, in Lummen change for the E313. Take exit 23 Geel West.From the South (BE/FR/Saarland)(PURPLE)
Drive to Liege, there take the E313 towards Antwerpen. Take exit 23 Geel West.From the West (BE/GB)(GREEN)
Drive to Brussels, continue to Leuven and Genk via the E40/E314. Take exit Aarschot and drive to Geel. You will drive past Westerlo.Train
Closest trainstation is Herentals. In the weekend only reachable via a transfer in Antwerpen. During the week reachable from Brussels as well. From Leuven/Aarschot you can transfer in LierUK Eurostar wont stop in Antwerpen, ex Thalys Eurostar from Amsterdam/Paris will.Ex Thalys Eurostar / ICE from DE its easiest/fastest that we pick you up in Aachen.Plane
BRUssels is the most logical, DUSseldorf is an option if it works well for you. Dont do Brussels South / Charleroi (CRL). Trains go directly from BRUssels airport basement level, see further above.
